Back: When Todd went to China to swim in the World Special Olympics, he knew the competition was going to be tough. He decided “Never Give Up. Never Surrender” and do his very best. Winning 4 medals – 2 gold, 1 silver & 1 bronze – in swimming was the result of his positive attitude.
Sometimes in life we are overwhelmed by our circumstances. If we just remember to “Never Give Up, Never Surrender”, we will know that we did our best.
And just like Todd, you might be a role model and not even know it.
The greeting card you are holding exists because people like you helped me achieve my goals. I was motivated to work hard at whatever I did and never give up. I learned to believe in myself and others. Through my cards, I want to help families recognize how many opportunities and great moments they will experience having a person with a developmental disability in their life. Living my life has its challenges, but it’s also a lot of fun!
